Chargeback fees now included in the Payout Report

Global — Excluding South Africa

Chargeback-related admin fees are now visible in both your payout CSV download and in your payout screen. 

Note: Chargeback fees apply in all cases, regardless of whether the dispute is won or lost. However, the fee for a successful (won) chargeback is slightly lower than for an unsuccessful (lost) one.

These fees are determined by the issuing and acquiring banks, and RoomRaccoon has no control over them. They are intended to cover the administrative costs associated with the chargeback process.

How to activate, publish and update listings with Airbnb connect

LightSpeed POS – Connect multiple L-series paypoints to one RoomRaccoon account

Properties with multiple outlets—such as a bar, restaurant, or spa—can now connect several Lightspeed L Series PayPoints to a single RoomRaccoon account.

What’s new:
Previously, only one L-series paypoint could post charges or sync revenue. With this update, each L-series paypoint can charge to guest rooms and push external revenue to your main RoomRaccoon account, ensuring accurate tracking and streamlined operations across outlets.

Why it matters:
This is ideal for hotels with more than one L-series POS terminal. It enables consolidated revenue reporting and seamless guest billing from all connected L-series paypoints.

Exact Accounting — Invoice-Based Match Set

No more manual matching in Exact! Previously, we used the cash book method, where all invoices and payments for the day were pushed to Exact in bulk. That meant hoteliers had to manually match payments to the right invoices. 

With the new invoice-based method, we now include critical metadata when we send transactions to Exact. These identifiers act as "coordinates" that let Exact automatically match a payment to the right invoice, even if the invoice was created months earlier.
