RaccoonPay Dashboard Update: Payout Status
We’ve added a new "Payment Status" column to your RaccoonPay dashboard. This column indicates whether your payment has been settled, showing that the funds have been transferred from the payment service provider to your account. Unchecked payments signify that the payment may have been made by the guest, but has not yet been paid out to your bank account.
Card Machine Refunds for RaccoonPay 2.0
Guests who pay in person using the RaccoonPay card machine can now be refunded via the RoomRaccoon platform.
Good to Know: Only transactions registered after June 3, 2024, can be refunded via this functionality. For earlier transactions, don't hesitate to contact RaccoonPay support for assistance.

Charge an Alternative Credit Card in the Reservation
With this update, you can now add an alternative credit card directly to the reservation to charge as a once-off action. This nifty update makes it easier for you to add and charge an alternative card in cases where the guest's card has expired, or they would prefer to pay at the front desk using an alternative credit card.
Good to Know: The alternative credit card will be used for a one-time payment only. The card details will not be stored in the booker's profile for future use.

Mobile Design Updates
We have made small adjustments to the sizing of the search bar for an improved mobile booking experience for your guests.Guest Default Selection
We have updated the default guest selection number on the booking engine to start with zero instead of one guest.Discount Code Activation
Booking engine discount codes will now only activate once the guest has selected their stay dates and clicked "Search Availability". The discount will then show its deduction in the Checkout window.
Add-ons in the Reservation Card: Date Reallocation Alert
When you have a reservation in RoomRaccoon with preselected add-ons assigned to specific dates within the guest's stay, changing the arrival and departure dates can cause the add-on dates to fall outside the new reservation window. With this update, if you adjust the guest's arrival or departure date in a reservation, an alert will appear, prompting you to reassign the add-ons to dates within the new stay period. You can easily update each add-on's date by clicking on its date field and making the necessary changes.
View RevPAR Insights in the Revenue Tab > Summary Report
To enhance the clarity and consolidation of your RevPAR information, we have made the following updates in the Reports Module:
Removed the RevPAR item from the Reservation Insights card under the Performance dashboard (Tab).
Added a new "RevPAR" column in the Summary report on the Revenue Tab.
These changes are designed to provide you with more detailed insights into your granular RevPAR data.
RoomRaccoon Marketplace
NEW Integration for ZA Market: Sage Business Cloud for Accounting
For our South African-based hoteliers, we are integrating with Sage Cloud Business for Accounting, allowing your RoomRaccoon account to link directly with your Sage accounting software. This integration ensures that all financial data is accurately and efficiently synchronized, reducing manual entry and the potential for errors.
