Automatic Invoice Deduction from Your RaccoonPay Balance

RoomRaccoon now makes paying your invoices easier than ever.  Your subscription invoices can be automatically deducted from your RaccoonPay balance, removing the need for manual bank transfers or direct debit payments.

Where is this feature available?

Automatic invoice deduction is currently available for properties operating in the following currencies:

  • EUR

  • GBP

  • CAD

  • USD

What does this mean for you?

Instead of waiting for direct debit or manually transferring payments, RoomRaccoon will automatically deduct the invoice due amount from your RaccoonPay balance.

This makes subscription payments effortless and ensures you never miss a due date — especially useful if you have smaller monthly charges (such as card storage or Google Hotel Ads fees) alongside your annual subscription.

How It Works

1. Invoice Issued

Invoices are generated and issued on the 20th of each month.

2. First Deduction Attempt – 20th

RoomRaccoon automatically attempts to deduct the invoice amount from your RaccoonPay balance on the same day.

  • If successful:

    • The invoice is marked as paid immediately.

    • The deduction appears in your next weekly Payout Report for easy tracking.

  • If unsuccessful (insufficient balance):

    • A second automatic attempt will be made on the 22nd.

3. Second Deduction Attempt – 22nd

  • If successful:

    • The invoice is marked as paid.

    • The transaction is shown in your next weekly Payout Report.

  • If unsuccessful:

    • No further attempts are made.

    • The invoice remains due, and your regular payment method (e.g. direct debit or manual transfer) will apply.

How Will You Know a Deduction Has Occurred?

You’ll be notified in the following places:

  • Subscription tab: Displays your invoice status — paid or pending.

  • Monthly and annual invoices: A message in the footer clearly states that your RaccoonPay balance may be used to automatically settle due amounts.

  • Payout Reports and Details: Any successful deductions are visible here for full transparency.
