How to Connect to Hotelbeds

Hotelbeds is an independent company that contracts hotel rooms and other travel services from travel suppliers and markets them to third-party resellers, typically online travel agencies (OTAs), travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and loyalty membership programs.)


A Hotelbeds Account Manager will work with you to help grow your business. Use this connection to maximise occupancy by tapping into a network of global markets of high-value clients. Hotelbeds is committed to maximising occupancy, developing world-class marketing solutions, and being the cost-effective partner you can trust.


Before you start

  • Before setting up a connection with a channel, we advise you to set up derived rates

  • Make sure that every rate you have in Hotelbeds is created in RoomRaccoon as well before requesting this connection.

  • For any changes in your HotelBeds account, you must contact your HotelBeds account manager.

  • HotelBeds only has one rate plan that needs to be connected, so you will only need the base rate plan to connect with HotelBeds.

Example: 

Double Room - OTA 2p rate plan

Triple Room - OTA 3p rate plan

or you can create a new HotelBeds rate plan if you want to have a different rate on HotelBeds:

Double Room - HotelBeds 2p

Triple Room - HotelBeds 3p


IMPORTANT: We do not import reservations made before the connection. These can be added manually, or during the implementation process. 


How to initiate the connection?

Step 1: Register with your details to open an account with Hotelbeds. 


Step 2: Once your Hotelbeds account is set up, you need to provide us with the following information to complete the connection: 

  1. HSI Username + HSI Password + Hotelbeds Account ID (You must contact your account manager to get this information).

  2.  HotelBeds room category ID and the category name it belongs to in RoomRaccoon (You can find your HotelBeds category ID through MaxiRoom).

  3. HotelBeds Rate plan ID and the rate plan name it belongs to in RoomRaccoon. (You can find your HotelBeds rate plan ID through MaxiRoom).

Example of how the information should look:

HSI Username + HSI Password + HotelBeds Account ID: HC000000 + HC000000 + 12345

HotelBeds Category ID: DBL_ST - RoomRaccoon category name: Double Room

HotelBeds Category ID: TPL_ST - RoomRaccoon category name: Triple Room

HotelBeds rate plan ID: 359 - RoomRaccoon: OTA non-refundable, 357 - RoomRaccoon - OTA Standard


Step 3: Request this connection through our Chatbot with the information from Step 2. 


Step 4: After you provide us with this information, we will connect you and inform you once we are done so you can confirm that everything is working correctly on your side.
