What can I use grey rooms for? 

Grey rooms or rooms are best used for a variety of functions such as to host conferences, meetings rooms, wedding venues, or even as a parking agenda or a waiting list.

Are grey rooms a free functionality in my RoomRaccoon account? 

Grey rooms are free on RoomRaccoon, provided you do not issue more than four (4) invoices per month on each grey room.

When are grey rooms billed on my RoomRaccoon subscription? 

When four or more (4+) invoices are issued within a month from a grey room then you are charged at the same rate as one of your white rooms. It is important to note that if you are on an annual subscription and you issue four or more invoices from grey rooms, an additional invoice will be issued for the additional subscription price.

How do I know which rooms are grey rooms?

Rooms that are not assigned are greyed out on your calendar which is for you to easily identify that these rooms are not bookable.

Can I create and send invoices to grey rooms?

Yes, you can still prepare invoices even if there is no rate type assigned to the room. If you issue four or more (4+) invoices on a grey room though, this 'room' will be added to your subscription costs.

Do grey rooms affect my accommodation's occupancy? 

No grey rooms do not affect occupancy as they are not made available for booking by guests. 

What is the difference between a ‘white’ room and a grey room? 

In your RoomRaccoon calendar you have 2 different slots for reservations: white rooms and grey rooms. 

The white rooms are the open spaces in your calendar where you can book reservations, these stand for an available spot for a given room on a given day or time period.

Grey rooms are merely spaces that you can use for meetings, parking spots and venues. Grey rooms do not affect your occupancy.
