The Online Check-out Feature

Add an extra layer of convenience to the guest experience with our online check-out feature, which allows guests to settle outstanding bills from the comfort of their rooms via an email link on any device. Eliminating the need for check-out at the front desk saves you valuable time and streamlines your departure process.


All you need to do is invite guests to check out online by sending them a self-check-out email requesting payment for the outstanding charge. When the guest receives the guest self-check-out email, they can view their balance and settle it quickly and easily online so they can check out. This is an automated process that will save you time and offer a convenient experience for your guests. 



What can you expect from the online check out?

  • If payment is outstanding, it must be settled to complete the online check-out. You can easily see the payment status of a booking by viewing the colour of the triangle in the corner of a booking in the calendar. 

  • A tax invoice is automatically generated when a payment is completed. 

  • Once a guest has checked out online, the booking status will automatically change in the calendar.  

  • Group reservations will be checked-out all at the same time. It is not possible to do individual online check-outs for a group reservation.

  • The time that the Online Check-out document is sent cannot be changed. 


Good to know

  • The online check-out is automatically enabled on your account. If you would like to disable the online check-out, simply delete the document in the module Documents > Online Check-out.
