Welcome to our first product update of the year. 

We present our newest features and updates to improve your user experience. RoomRaccoon 23.1 unlocks a new reporting functionality and enhanced online check-in with extra guest information fields plus more!

New Features

Additional Online Check-In Fields

Do you want to capture more guest information? Now you can! We have added six new guest fields that you can include in the online registration form. Take a look at the sample below.

• Requested Meal Time
• Car Registration Number
• Flight Number
• Allergens / Dietary Requiremnets 
• Preferred Room

RaccoonPay 2.0

RoomRaccoon offers users fully integrated payments via RaccoonPay, our native payment gateway. RaccoonPay has extended its services to more merchants in Europe and the UK. RaccoonPay's competitive rates allow you to focus on your business, not transaction costs. Onboarding is seamless and will only take a few minutes.

Booking Confirmation for OTAs 

You can now personalise the booking confirmation emails sent to OTA bookers with our new Booking Confirmation for OTAs feature that lets you set up a custom booking confirmation email for guests booking via an OTA.  

Airbnb Pet Fee 

Do you want to make your property pet friendly? We have added the Airbnb pet fee, which will reflect as an add-on to reservations. The Airbnb pet fee will connect to the accommodation ledger automatically.

*Please note that if you want the Airbnb pet fee to connect to a different ledger, you must create the 'Airbnb pet fee' and assign the add-on to your preferred ledger account. 

Segmentation of the Guests’ Purpose of Stay

Guests can now select their purpose of stay as corporate, business, or leisure. This will give you insights into the type of travellers you attract to your property to create targeted pricing strategies, a personalised guest experience, and marketing messaging. You will be able to see this report in the Reports module. 

New Connection

Nuki: Smart Lock

Nuki Smart Lock is a new connection in the RoomRaccoon Marketplace. When guests visit your property, you no longer have to partake in the time-consuming and costly key handover process. Nuki Smart Lock sends your guests a code to their smartphones that they can use to open the door.

Enhancements

Change the Reservation Status 

Did you accidentally check-out out a guest and want to check them back in? You can now manually change the reservation status from checked-out to checked-in without contacting the RoomRaccoon support team.

View the Date Rooms Have Been Added

You can keep track of the dates your rooms were created in the My Property module for better visibility and room management.

Invoice Download Limit Has Been Removed

You can now download unlimited invoices! 

RaccoonPay Refunds

Only users with a login of supervisor or higher will be able to initiate refunds. This change has been implemented after updating to a higher clearance level.

Channel Sync Toggle

The channel sync toggle lets you disable your channel manager to make all your desired rate and restriction changes in one go without triggering the individual update pop-up.

Find Your Way With the Upgraded Screens

The old navigation switch will no longer be visible as we permanently switch to the new and improved navigation screens.
