RemoteLock Connection

Modified on Mon, 14 Nov, 2022 at 11:00 AM

RemoteLock is a key connection that allows you to automate the key process through smart wifi solutions on a single, easy-to-use dashboard. With RemoteLock you are able to issue each guest with a unique, self-expiring pin code.

RemoteLock has two connection types

  1. Single door code - This will mean that each door has a unique code so room 1 will have a unique code, room 2 will have its unique code etc.

  1. Door groups - This means that a code may be used for multiple doors e.g the code can be used for the room door and the security gate. The second room’s code will be able to open the room and the security gate too, this will be the case for all rooms.

How to Activate the connection

  1. Have an account with RemoteLock

  1. Click on the authorisation link provided by RoomRaccoon.

  1. RoomRaccoon will map the doors.

Benefits of using RemoteLock

•  Automatically send access credentials to guests.

•  No lost keys, no locked out guests, no rekeying.

•  Manage it all from a single, easy-to-use dashboard.

Good to know

  • There is a replace tag in the documents titled %room key%. Use this tag in the document you want the room key to be in e.g Online check-in so that the guest already has their key access at the time of check-in. A great added feature as it’s fully automated and reduces time on admin and contact.
