Can I add a new booking in the past?

No, adding past bookings is disabled to prevent inconsistencies in revenue and occupancy statistics. A tool-tip has been added for guidance in the RoomRaccoon System.

Is it possible to overwrite a price after the revenue of the booking has been partially or fully closed?

No, the price overwrite functionality (the ‘pencil’ icon) is unavailable once any of the days in the booking have been closed.

Can I modify a past booking to add an add-on?

Yes, you can add an add-on to past bookings. However, the revenue from the add-on defaults to today's date. You can then invoice the guest an updated invoice with the outstanding amount to be paid.

Can I apply a discount to a booking if all days have been closed?

No, discounts cannot be added once all days are closed. However, you can still add an add-on as a post reservation stay surcharge.

What if I want to apply an additional discount to remaining open days, but a closed day already has a discount?

You can edit a discount as long as there is at least one open day in the reservation. The system will not alter the discount on a closed day but will apply any additional discount to the remaining open day(s).
