Why Does a Payment Have a Red Lock

When a guest has made a payment and the payment displays a locked padlock in red this means that payment has been made, however there is no invoice in the reservation to be linked to the payment.  



How to Create an invoice


  1. Access the reservation.




  1. Scroll down to documents and click on “make new invoice”




  1. Select the items you want to add to the invoice and click “Create Invoice” on the top right.



Once you’ve created the invoice simply assign the payment to the invoice. 




Good to know


  • If the payment has not been linked to an invoice it will have a red exclamation mark. For more on how to link a payment to an invoice, click here
