In this article you will find an overview of channels and any exceptions you need to pay attention to when connecting to them.

How to make sure the add-ons are properly communicated:

The management fee and linen fee are so-called Airbnb standard fees.
Airbnb standard fees are always included in the nightly rate, therefore, you need to make sure you create a package rate and include these standard fees in there, as Airbnb will assume they are already included.
The cleaning fee on the other hand will be shown as a separate add-on and does not need to be included in the package.

The connection is done based on room level, meaning that rooms are connected to each other and not room categories.
Make sure you create all your rooms in the extranet of this channel.
Be aware that this channel cannot communicate any restrictions.
When you work with a minimum or a maximum length of stay, make sure you set this up in the extranet of the channel.
The same counts for the restriction check in closed or check-out closed.

RoomRaccoon only connects rates for adults. When there is the possibility to book children, this will need to be set up on the channel’s side.
In RoomRaccoon, additional rate plans need to be created for the occupancy including children. Those additional rates do not need to be visible on the booking engine and also do not need to be connected to any channel.
These additional rates must be created as derived from the rates mapped with the specific channel.
Example: Double room (2 adults and 1 child)
In this case the rates for 1 and 2 guests will be connected to booking.com, but you will also need to create a rate for 3 guests, so RoomRaccoon will choose the correct rate when 2 adults and 1 child book via booking.com.
The rate for 3 guests must be derived from the rates that are connected to booking.com.

This channel cannot communicate any restrictions.
When you work with a minimum or a maximum length of stay, make sure you set this up in the extranet of Feratel.
The same counts for the restriction check in closed or check-out closed.

Only one rate can be connected to this channel.
This means it is not possible to connect several occupancies or for example different rate types such as non-refundable, incl. breakfast, weekend rates etc.
