Payment Lock on Screen


On RoomRaccoon you may see a lock icon within the payments section on your reservation dashboards. 


This is to notify you that something that is required for the payment which is missing. This may be that there is no credit card added or the email of the booker is missing. 


A lock icon will also appear if you are not integrated with a payment service provider. This is intended to demonstrate how the interface may appear once integration is complete.




How to add an email address and credit card to a guest’s profile


You can add information to the booker by:

  • clicking on the booker name within the reservation dashboard
  • by navigating to the Bookers and Guests module on the left hand navigation in your RoomRaccoon account.



  1. Find the guest name and click the edit button (pencil icon) or search the pre-added guest name.




2. In the “Edit booker” section there’s an email address field. Enter the guest’s email address here.




3. Add the credit card details in the “Credit Card Details” section.




4. Click Save.


Good to know



  • The email you add here is the email that will be used to send a payment request.
