Modified on Mon, 27 Mar, 2023 at 9:01 AM

As a hotelier, you may want to have a negotiated rate with different companies who stay in your hotel or B&B regularly. With RoomRaccoon these companies can book directly on your booking engine with their negotiated rate automatically set.

How to Set up a negotiated rate on RoomRaccoon

  1. Access the Bookers & Guest Tab on the left of the screen.

  1. Go to the main booker of the company and add all data of the company. In the lower right corner you will find the option to make a negotiated rate.

  1. This negotiated rate will apply to all future bookings made by the company. You can choose to give a % on your rates or a fixed amount. Tick the rate types for which you want this negotiated rate to be valid for or select all of them.

  1. Now that you have set up the negotiated rate for the company. You can use it when you manually enter the reservation for the booker and you can give the company the opportunity to book directly via your booking engine.

  1. To enable this option, click in the main booker's account and click on 'manage booking agents'.

  1. Click Add user and fill in required user information.

  1. After you click on save, you will already see a code filled in in the corporate code section. This code can be used by your business bookers to get access to the negotiated rate you have made in the booking engine.

  1. Copy the code

  1. The code is active and you can now access discount codes via the booking engine on the top right of the screen. Click on “do you have a discount code” and add the code and email.
