On RoomRaccoon you can link two bookings in an instance where a guest spends their first few nights in one room and then moves to another room at a later stage due to the unavailability of the initial room or a room upgrade. You can link these reservations so that they are invoiced to one guest.
How to connect two bookings with different dates
Click on Reservations
Open the reservation or create one if you haven’t already made one.
Click on the link icon in the reservation to make a linked reservation.
Enter the reservation number you want to link it to.
You will now see that the reservations are displayed differently, this will allow you to give the linked reservation a different date by clicking on it.
Once you’ve set the dates on the invoice, click save.
Good To Know
- You can manage all payments and invoices from the main reservation within a group.
- Remember that if you have already registered a payment/invoice in a booking you won't be able to link it to a main one.
