How to Manage Restrictions

Restrictions are limits that you put into your rates such as the maximum and minimum stay or closing check-in and check-out on specific days. You can set this up for all categories or select a certain room type restriction.


  1. In your rates and availability overview click on the pencil icon next to the selection for All categories:



  1. Enter the period.




  1. Select which days the rate change is applicable for (for example, only during the weekend).



  1. Add a surcharge or discount (a percentage % or an amount). For discounts put a minus sign before the value. Please note, you do not adjust the whole price; you are adding or subtracting an amount/percentage from it!



  1. If applicable, select a minimum and maximum stay restriction.




  1. If applicable, select if you would like to mark the check-in and check-out as closed.


  1. Select which room types you want to perform the bulk action on, by clicking on the dropdown menu you can also exclude some rate types.




Good to know


  • When you change your prices or restrictions in the rates & availability you can expect the channel manager to communicate those changes to your external booking channels automatically.


  • The restrictions in rates and availability override the restrictions on accommodation set-up.
