RoomRaccoon counts children as an extra guest which can lead to rates that are not connected in the mapping screen, which again leads to error messages. This is why child rates need to be deactivated in case you do not have a rate for that occupancy in RoomRaccoon.
How to do it:
On your Expedia portal Navigate to your rooms and rates settings.
On the drop-down select “Room types and rate plans”.
Next to the picture of the room type, click edit.
Scroll to beds and occupancy
Where it asks “Is there a limit on the number of adults or children?”. Click on yes for this section.
On Maximum number of adults (set your preference). To deactivate child rates set “Maximum number of children” to 0.
