Onboarding with RoomRaccoon - Step 1

What are we going to do?

The goal of the first step is to set up and prepare the room types, price types, documents and possible arrangements.

• Create price types (pay attention, set any restrictions such as a minimum stay will come later.)

• Create room types (note, these should be the same as on your other channels.)

• Create packages if necessary (please note, for this you have to create the parts included in the package as an add-on.)

Step 1

When you have decorated the room & price types you have already done the most important thing. At the first step we think about the right furnishing of your room types and price types. The links to the external channels are made by means of the price types. So they should be exactly the same on all your channels and look the same everywhere. So if you have Non-Refundable rates on a channel, so should RoomRaccoon! Preffer a text explanation? Read the step by step plan below!

You can manage your room types from within the system by following these steps:

1. Click on the key figure icon at the top left of your screen.

2. Click on the green button at your top right which says + roomtype

3. Add your room type here and press save

You can manage your rate types from within the system by following these steps:

1. Click on the key figure icon at the top left of your screen.

2. Look for the room type you would like to add a ratetype to.

3. Underneath the name of the room type, click on the manage room rate button.

4. Give your rate a name like 1 Guest or 1 Guests (booking.com)

5. Add the occupancy connected to this rate.

6. Fill in the price per night or if you want to connect the rate to its main rate, make it derived and add an addition.

7. Choose if you want this rate to show in your Booking Engine (so own website) or not. Then press save

You can manage your rooms from within the system by following these steps:

1. Click on the key figure icon at the top left of your screen.

2. Head over to rooms. Add your room by clicking on the green button on your top right which says + room.

3. Give your room a number and a name.

4. Connect the correct room type to this room and press save.
