How to Extend a Guest’s Stay From an OTA Booking

Bookings made through an OTA (Online Travel Agency) disable the check-in and check-out date as this is communicated directly from the booking channel and cannot be changed. If your guest however wants to extend their booking, this can be done by using the “extend stay” feature in the OTA booking.


How to Extend a Guest’s Stay From an OTA Booking


  1. Open the OTA reservation from your agenda/reservations


  1. In the reservation, click on “extend stay” 


  1. This will create a separate reservation on which you can edit the date and the rate as well as add-ons.



  1. Once you’ve set the dates, rates and add-ons. Click on save and the extended reservation will be saved on the PMS.




Good to know


  • You can make changes on the new reservation as it will be treated as a direct booking.
