Managing OTA Bookings

On RoomRaccoon, you can receive reservations from a number of platforms which includes direct entries on the agenda, reservations from the booking engine and bookings made through Online Travel Agencies (OTA’s). 


Managing OTA bookings is much different from managing direct bookings because reservation data for OTA’s is stored in the channel’s extranet. When information is updated on the extranet it overrides the reservation data in RoomRaccoon including any changes made to the reservation in RoomRaccoon. Some fields are disabled/greyed out/ such as the arrival and departure as this is communicated from the OTA.
