Create a Discount Code Pop up on Your Website

On RoomRaccoon you can create a discount code link to encourage guests to book directly with you through a pop-up on your website. 

How to create a discount code for your website pop up

To create the link for your website, you must first create a discount code in your Booking Engine. For more on creating discount campaigns, click here.

Step 1

After you’ve set up your discount code, add your RoomRaccoon booking engine link. You can also access this in the Booking Engine Tab under the Booking Engine Setup overview by clicking on the “book” button. This will redirect you to your booking engine, where you can copy the link.

Step 2

Add this directly next to the link: ?coupon=

Step 3

Add the Discount Code that you created initially. Your discount code names are at the bottom of the booking engine settings on account settings. You may enter the code you want the pop-up to have.

Step 4

Use the skills of a digital designer to bring your pop-up to life! Your goal is to generate more interest in your special offer, so an eye-catching design will help to achieve this. You can also design and create one with the pop-up tool if you are using the RoomRaccoon Website Builder.

Final Step

Once you have completed all four steps, send the url to your web developer to link it to your new pop up. When a guest enters your website, the discount pop-up will appear with your special offer and directs them straight to your booking engine.
