Guest registration

Alloggiatiweb

RoomRaccoon is fully integrated with AlloggiatiWeb, the guest registration system managed by the Italian State Police. When a reservation is marked as “checked-in” in RoomRaccoon, guest data is automatically sent to the authorities.

  • Mandatory for all accommodation providers in Italy (hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, agriturismi, etc.)

  •  Guest data must be submitted within 24 hours of arrival (immediately for same-day stays)

  • Includes name, date of birth, nationality, document type/number, and residency details

  • Compliant with GDPR requirements for data privacy

Fiscalisation

Fattura Elettronica (Electronic Invoicing)

RoomRaccoon supports full electronic invoicing compliance by allowing hoteliers to issue invoices in the required XML format and automatically send them to the Agenzia delle Entrate via the SDI system.

  • Invoices are sent automatically every few hours

  • Rejected invoices are flagged with explanations so users can correct and resubmit

  • Invoicing is mandatory if:

    • You are VAT-registered

    • You issue invoices (especially B2B or international guests)

    • Your business exceeds certain revenue thresholds

  • Not required if:

    • You operate under the regime forfettario

    • You only issue fiscal receipts (scontrini) instead of invoices

Epson (Fiscal Printers)

RoomRaccoon is compatible with Epson fiscal printers, allowing hoteliers to issue tax-compliant fiscal receipts (scontrini). These printers are certified by the Italian tax authority and automatically log transactions in tamper-proof fiscal memory.

Required if you issue receipts for:

  • Walk-in bookings

  • Bar/restaurant purchases

  • On-site retail transactions

Not needed if:

  • You only issue invoices

  • You use a certified online POS that reports directly to the tax authorities

Statistics and Reporting

Istat (Italian National Institute Of Statistics)

RoomRaccoon provides exportable files for ISTAT reporting, which is mandatory in most Italian regions. These reports include guest and stay data such as arrival and departure dates, guest demographics, and reason for stay.

  • Files (.txt or .xml) are available from the Reports section

  • Typically submitted monthly by the 5th of the following month via regional portals

  • Regions supported include: Trentino (file generation only), Lombardia, Piemonte, Emilia, Marche, etc. (via Ross100/Turismo5 format), Veneto, Calabria, Sardegna, Basilicata.

LTS (Local Tourism Systems)

RoomRaccoon integrates with LTS systems in regions where it is required, such as Alto Adige (South Tyrol). The platform automatically submits guest data as part of LTS and ASTAT compliance.

  • Data is sent automatically when reservations are checked in

  • Includes city tax reporting and stay breakdowns

  • Mandatory in regions like Alto Adige

  • Requirements vary by region; not all municipalities use LTS
