What is a White Label?
With our White Label feature, you can use your own custom domain for your property's Booking Engine. This means "Powered by RoomRaccoon" won't appear on your booking engine or in your booking documents, making it look more personalized and professional.
How to Set Up Your Custom Domain Using Cloudflare
Sign Up for Cloudflare:
Go to Cloudflare's sign-up page.
Complete the registration process.
Choose a plan that suits your needs. Cloudflare will now handle your domain's DNS (the service that translates your domain name into the website's IP address).
Update Your Name Servers:
Follow Cloudflare's instructions to update your domain’s name servers to point to Cloudflare. This step might take up to 24 hours to fully process.
Here’s a guide on how to do it: Full Setup Process.
Add a DNS Record for Your Booking Engine:
After setting up your domain in Cloudflare, go to the DNS section in your Cloudflare dashboard.
Click on "Add Record."
Set the "Type" to CNAME.
In the "Name" field, enter your desired subdomain (e.g., booking.YourDomainName.com).
In the "Target" field, enter booking.roomraccoon.com.
Leave the "Proxy status" as Proxied.
Click "Save" to finish.
Enable SSL/TLS:
Go to the SSL/TLS section in your Cloudflare account.
Ensure your SSL/TLS encryption mode is set to Full. This keeps your data secure.
Additional Information
Cost: This feature requires one upgrade slot in your RoomRaccoon plan. You can review our updated pricing here.
Note: Only the DNS and Proxy need to be managed by Cloudflare. Cloudflare is not a hosting provider; it only handles DNS and security settings for your domain.
