Modified on Thu, 16 Jan at 1:03 PM

The function sheet is your go-to document for seamless event management. The function sheet's agenda outlines all the details, tasks, and resources needed for a specific event, such as catering, room setup, and equipment needs.

Function sheets are primarily used by hotel staff involved in event planning and management, including banquet coordinators, front desk personnel, housekeeping, and kitchen staff. It's a vital tool for anyone responsible for executing an event, from setup to service and invoicing.

Function Sheet FAQs

Q: Is there a setting to ensure certain add-ons are automatically added to the function sheet when selected by guests?

Currently, there isn’t a setting to automatically include specific add-ons on the function sheet when selected by guests. You’ll need to manually update the reservation card if you would like to add an add-on to the agenda of the function sheet.

Q: Can I assign times or comments to add-ons from group or individual bookings?

Add-ons can only have times and comments assigned if they are included in the function sheet. This ensures clear instructions and accurate timing when planning the agenda for a function.

Q: Why don’t add-ons from guest bookings automatically appear on the function sheet?

When a guest reserves through the booking engine—whether individually or as part of a group—and selects add-ons, these add-ons will not automatically populate on the function sheet.

To include these add-ons:

  1. Open the reservation card.

  2. Navigate to the add-on as if to edit it.

  3. Select the "Add to function sheet" tickbox to include the add-on in the function sheet agenda.

  4. Click ‘Save’ to ensure it appears on the function sheet.
