Rates are essential part of our everyday work and sometimes we want to add new rates for a new channel which will require some tweaking of the rate plans.
Depending on which rates you have, the structure will also be a lot different.
Important to know before connecting:
RoomRaccoon is an occupancy based pricing solution, which means that we work with rates per person per day.
Why is this important to know? Well, we always need to have each occupancy for each rate plan, so that we can offer a better overview for the clients and offer them more to choose from.
How does it look in practice?
Direct(Booking Engine) rates structure:
1 Guest standard (Base rate plan)
2 Guests standard (We will derive this rate plan from the 1 Guest rate and leave it to be the same amount amount in your local currency)
3 Guests standard (We will derive this rate plan from the 1 guest rate and add 25$ increase if somebody wants to book it)
4 Guests standard (We will derive this rate plan from the 1 guest rate and add 50$ increase if somebody wants to book it)
Note: Amount is an example and you can always change it to your liking
We will do the same structure as above, just create a new rate plan that will be separate from the standard rate, this way you will have the freedom of changing standard and the OTA rates independently.
AIRBNB rates:
For Airbnb, we need to create different rate plan same as OTA one, but only for Airbnb, as they have different way of connecting with RoomRaccoon and are using only one rate plan.
